4. John Morrison
Morrison is another superstar who seemed to be right there on the brink of breaking the glass ceiling. John worked several main events in his last year with the company and even managed to be included in a WWE Title match on PPV. This poor guy just seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time every time. Backstage politics due to who he associated himself with seemed to kill his push. So many times it seemed the company was going to pull the trigger on him only for them to pull back. Morrison is capable of doing things in the ring that other wrestlers only dream of but the fact of the matter is he is horrible on the mic. John most likely would have captured a major title during his run with the company if he had only been better at cutting promos. If John was smart he would return soon as the WWE has left the door wide open for him to come back and the ball is in his court. His name still holds value but he is forgotten by the WWE fans with each passing day. The window of opportunity for John to come back and claim his spot is closing. With his time away he has taken a few acting gigs which could indicate that he might be better at promos nowadays. If John returns soon chances are high he could make a big impact but like I said as of right now the ball is in his court.
