2. Batista
Batista was a guy that I never really appreciated during his run with WWE. Big guys with huge muscles were never really my favorite to watch in the ring and Batista was never really the most talented wrestler. With that being said the lack of his presence is surely felt in the WWE landscape. Before Batista left he was delivering some of the best promo work of his entire career. His feud with John Cena before he quit showed a range that no one thought he was capable of. Batista was very one dimensional for most of his WWE career but at the end he was completely reinventing himself and it was very refreshing. WWE is lacking big larger than life superstars and Batista's MMA career hasn't exactly been anything to write home about. There is little doubt that Batista will return at some point but he seems to be hesitant due to his disdain for the current product. I can't say I blame him. The product that gets displayed on our TV weekly isn't the product he fell in love with and it's pretty far from the attitude era which inspired him to become a wrestler in the first place. Batista wants to return to a violent, hard hitting WWE landscape and we should only hope that the opportunity for a Batista return will be presented soon.
