WWE: 5 Ways To Make Randy Orton vs. Batista Work At WrestleMania 30

4. Don't Have The Match On Last

Putting aside the rejection of this match before it's even begun to one side, there's been times over the years where it would have been smarter to put a different match on last. WrestleMania XXV was a prime example, Shawn Michaels' loss to Undertaker was the best match of the night - which the fans were really hot for - so by the time it came to the main event, Triple H vs. Orton, the crowd were really flat. WrestleMania should build towards the last match of the evening, and that last match should be the one the fans are looking forward to the most. WrestleMania X-Seven (Austin vs. Rock) was a great example of huge anticipation of the main event and the whole show gearing up towards it. You cannot gear up to a match that fans don't want to see. So, if the WWE are hell bent on having this Orton vs. Batista match go ahead, then do us a favour and don't put it on last. Place it near the end or in the middle of the card, the fans can have some fun booing and chanting for Daniel Bryan or CM Punk, before rolling on to the matches they do have an interest in. I would probably suggest putting Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar on last. It would be quite fitting, in my opinion, for Taker to close out the 30th Mania, given his legendary streak. I suppose you cannot rule out John Cena's match being the last match on any card, so his (yet to be announced) match with Bray Wyatt could end up on last. You never know.
