1. Chris Jericho
If the WWE are serious about plugging the CM Punk gap, then there would have to be a noti0n of bringing back Chris Jericho. There are rumours that the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah may be back in the squared circle some time in 2014 when his other commitments are less hectic. Should this be the case the WWE would have to think seriously about using Jericho as the new rebellious babyface. The reasons behind this are simple- Jericho has all the tools that made Punk excel in the role in abundance. First off, he is one of the best wrestlers the WWE has seen in the past two decades, showing a variation of styles and moves that makes every match seem unique. Secondly his mic skills are brilliant, so if any was to stand up to the authority the way Punk has and make the same sort of impact it would be Y2J. Finally, the WWE can rest assured that if they need someone to fill this hole in the short term before they are sure of Rollins making the step up in the fact that Jericho has done this before and so should be able to rage against the machine once again. There is no doubt that Jericho would be a short term solution- one that could only be relied upon for 8months max because that's probably the maximum contract they could dream to get him for. But it would allow for the talent of the undercard to continue to grow a fanbase naturally without having them being thrust into a position with little angle to explain it.
