You! Yes you! It's your fault Dolph Ziggler went babyface. Actually, it's the fault of the creative team and also his fault for being so damn good of a performer. What I'm getting at is that Ziggler was doing an excellent job as a heel prior to his Money in the Bank cash-in on Raw in April. The crowd went crazy for him. It was one of the biggest ovations of the year. It also led to his downfall because they turned him face soon after and that's what really hurt him. Ziggler's much better as that cocky guy that you remember from gym class that was better at every sport than you. There was always one of those guys. That was Ziggler's character and maybe that's who he is in real life in a lot of ways. We don't know that, but we know that as a heel he really thrived. His heel run got him pretty far too. He won Money in the Bank in 2012, which meant that he was finally ready to break through. It's a shame that he wasn't a part of a huge match at WrestleMania or that he didn't win the World Title there. That could have been a really big deal and could have propelled him up the ladder so to speak. As I mentioned with The Miz, they're doing the whole "this guy is on a losing streak" gimmick that typically means a turn is coming soon. I think their disgruntled tag team could really work if they are pushed as a team instead of two guys who are sinking on their own. Ziggler is a main event level heel. As a face, there are too many mountains to climb meaning that face side is pretty stacked right now. Go back to your heel roots, Dolph. It's for the best. Odds of a heel turn in 2014: 60%.
