WWE: 6 Current Faces That Are Better As Heels

1. Batista

We have seen many different sides of Batista over the years. He was the "rookie" learning at the feet of Triple H & Ric Flair in Evolution even though he was in his mid 30s. Then he became the guy that won the 2005 Rumble, realized how good he could be and beat his mentor Triple H in the main event of WrestleMania 21. The babyface run lasted a few years, but I'm sure even he would admit it got boring after a while. When Batista turned heel in 2009 and had that really entertaining heel run in early 2010, he showed just how good he could be. Batista proved that he was a natural heel that didn't care about what anybody thought about him. He dressed like a jerk. He had that cocky look to him. Since he's also bigger than most of his opponents it gave him an advantage over his opponents too. I also think WWE management needs to listen to its fans. They did not cheer loudly when he returned on Raw in January. It was not a big ovation when he won the Royal Rumble. When he destroyed Alberto Del Rio on Raw this past Monday he did get a cheer after he put him through the table, but was it because of him or because of the big table bump? I don't think fans think of him as some babyface legend. They want to boo him, so let them boo! A heel run makes a lot of sense for him. It could happen after WrestleMania if he's the WWE Champion or if WWE does the smart thing by putting the WWE Title on Daniel Bryan. If Bryan is the champion then heel Batista could be his first challenger. If Bryan isn't the champion then he could be champion Batista's first opponent. Also, if you want to push Roman Reigns later in the year, it makes sense for Batista to be one of his biggest rivals. The only thing that could prevent a Batista heel turn could be a potential feud with Brock Lesnar for SummerSlam. That would likely happen with Lesnar as the heel. Of course, Lesnar could always go face and they could still do it that way. Hopefully Batista turns heel this year. After all, that's what is best for business. Let's just hope that WWE realizes it too. Odds of a heel turn in 2014: 90%.
