He's always been an internet favorite from the moment he became one of the key guys in Ring of Honor over a decade ago. What was obvious about Bryan from the beginning, when he was using his real name Bryan Danielson for his matches, was that he was such a gifted technical wrestler. Those of us that watch wrestling online or order Ring of Honor DVDs don't care how big a wrestler is. We just want to see the talented guys in the ring. While I'm sure Bryan isn't upset about it now because he got to experience wrestling all over the world before WWE, it's a shame that WWE didn't bring him in years earlier. He was ready at least five years before WWE hired him. At least it's working out now and he's an ascending star that will be a fixture in WWE main events for years to come. Most old school internet fans didn't think Bryan Danielson would ever headline a WrestleMania yet here we are a few weeks away from it and that night is likely going to end with him as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Hard work pays off. Bryan is proof of that.
