WWE: 6 Intriguing Questions Following Summerslam
2. What Will The WWE Do With Ryback? Some of you who may have tuned in to the WWE from about a month ago may be wondering who on earth that idiot is backstage who keeps trashing the place and why don't they just call security instead of filming his unfunny antics? Well, fact is, that idiot used to be arguably the no. 2 babyface in the WWE 10 months previously. Yes, Ryback has fallen a long way and whether it be because of dangerous botches, lack of creative direction or just the character getting stale, Big Hungry is rarely seen in the squared circle these days- preferring to take out his frustrations on the 'staff' in the back. The fact of the matter is that, with Mark Henry and Big Show both face, he is the only true full-time monster heel the WWE has up its sleeve at the moment (Lesnar can fill that role, but he's part time, and while Bray Wyatt is a 'monster' heel, he is not a monster heel). The trouble is that he is pretty much in card purgatory- too big a name still to be duking it out with R-Truth, but he's certainly not someone who can make a case for going up against Daniel Bryan when Randy Orton or Triple H are waiting in the wings. Perhaps a returning Kofi Kingston may be the best way forward. A feud with Ryback may get Kofi the recognition he sorely needs to be put over as main card material and his clean cut babyface ways would feud well with Ryback's bullying antics. Christian is another possibility as like Chris Jericho before him, he may be the sort of person who could help minimise Ryback's faults in the ring.
