3. The Live Custody of Child Determined in a Wrestling Match
In 2005, Rey Mysterio and the late Eddie Guerrero were involved in a feud that had seen them compete at Wrestlemania, split up as a tag team and frustrate Guerrero, as he was unable to defeat Mysterio. What we have hear is a solid foundations of a good semi-main event feud between two awesome wrestlers. How can you mess that up? But then again, who am I to doubt the WWE? As a result of Mysterio's constant success over Guerrero, Guerrero desperation to get a victory over Mysterio took him to new depths. He decided, like all Professional Wrestlers have done in the past, to stalk Mysterio's son, Dominick, at a playground. He asked the confused Dominick if he wanted to hear "a bedtime story". Unfortunately for the WWE, this came off more as a episode of To Catch a Predator than a episode of Smackdown. So instead, Guerrero threatened to tell a dirty secret about Mysterio if he defeated at the Great American Bash. However, Mysterio defeated Guerrero at GAB, meaning his secret was safe at last. Except that Guerrero lies and all. Guerrero would reveal that Dominick, Mysterio's son, was actually Guerrero's son that he produced out of wedlock for Mysterio, because it turned out he was a little bit too short in the bedroom aswell. Guerrero then stated that due to Mysterio always defeating him in the ring, he would ruin his personal life by readopting his son away from Mysterio. Which in terms of retribution, is kinda over-doing it. It was at this point that child services got involved. In a sane word, they would probably try and prevent Guerrero from every having any contact from Dominick and enforcing some sort of restraining order. However, they determined that the custody of Dominick would be determined in a ladder match! Sadly, Dominick was not dangling over the ring for either Mysterio or Guerrero to collect. In the end, Mysterio would retain his kid, we would see the first appearance of Vickie Guerrero in a WWE storyline, and this would sadly be the last full storyline that Guerrero would finish.
