WWE: 6 Reasons Batista's Return Is The Right Move

6. It Provides Another Enemy For The Authority

Batista2 The Authority is WWE's primary heel corporate entity on TV. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have been abusing their power basically since the Raw after SummerSlam when The Game helped Randy Orton defeat Daniel Bryan and it has been getting worse since then. The Authority have lied, they have manipulated, they have done everything in their power to get what they want. Despite how valiantly both Bryan and Big Show fought against them, Hunter and Stephanie remained in power and continue to strong arm every Superstar that gets in their way. But they cannot strong arm Batista. And it will be fun to watch them try. Unlike both Big Show and Daniel Bryan, Batista has nothing to lose by standing up to his former mentor, Triple H. He has a career outside of the business now and the truth is that he really does not need to return in the first place; he will likely be doing it just for the fans. And those fans want to see The Authority dealt with. They want to see The Cerebral Assassin outsmarted, beaten at his own game and they want to see it right now. What better man to make that happen than the man who took Triple H down in the first place, beating him for the World Championship? Seeing Batista align himself with the babyface Superstars of WWE in direct opposition to The Authority will be a welcome sight for fans. They will have another hero to cheer for, another man to support that could potentially end the power trip that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are on. The Authority may extend a hand in friendship but The Animal will bite back.
