WWE: 6 Reasons Batista's Return Is The Right Move

5. Unfinished Business With John Cena

John Cena Wwe Assuming for a moment that Batista does not return as the conquering babyface Superstar and does the unthinkable by turning heel, then his first target could very well be John Cena. While this scenario seems highly unlikely to many fans, the truth is that there is some serious unfinished business between The Animal and the top guy in WWE. After all, the last time we saw Batista he was crying in the ring, complaining about his loss to Cena. He looked like very weak, weaker than he had in his entire WWE career. But as a heel, the blame would not lie with Batista, it would lie with Cena. And that could bring about a renewed rivalry. Even if Batista does return as a face, as most fans believe he will, there is still the possibility that he could cross paths with John Cena. And if he does, fireworks could ensue. Let's not forget the fact that WrestleMania 30 is still four months away, plenty of time for a match to be booked between Cena and Batista. With the proper buildup and back-story, these two could have an epic confrontation at Mania. This would be especially true if Cena were to end up with the WWE World Championship before the event happens in April. A showdown of that magnitude with the industry's top title hanging in the balance would mean big business for WWE. And that is a storyline option that deserves a second look.
