WWE: 6 Reasons WrestleMania VI Is The Greatest Of Them All

3. André's Last Match

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVieH5bMTCM WrestleMania VI was also the last televised match for André the Giant -- he later wrestled a handful of times for All Japan Pro Wrestling, teaming with Giant Baba. While André didn't do much during the Tag Team Championship contest, it's undoubtedly a noteworthy event. The Giant's Colossal Connection partner, Haku did the majority of the work as the team faced off with the hugely popular Ax and Smash of Demolition. However, after losing the titles to the face-painted duo, André got one last moment in the sun. Manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, upset over the loss, got in the large Frenchman's face, poking him and screaming profanities. André tried to explain as he winced in agony from the beating he took. And that's when it happened... Heenan slapped the Giant. The 7'4", 500-plus pound behemoth grabbed "The Brain" and slapped him repeatedly. Haku intervened but was treated to a gigantic headbutt. André rode off into the sunset after his final WrestleMania match -- like WrestleMania III, this event featured the awesome mini-rings that carted wrestlers to and from ringside. As Gorilla Monsoon often quipped, the place went "bananas" as André left, once again and for the final time, a babyface.
