3. Give A Top Card Talent One Of The Titles Almost a year ago now the WWE Tag Team Division was floundering. Nobody cared about where it was going simply because it seemed to be full of people that were unknown and not really given the time of day to let their characters become better. Triple H, if much of the wrestling dirt sheets are to be believed, saw this and so decided on a radical course of action. He took two of the most interesting superstars going around in Daniel Bryan and Kane that had been vying for the WWE Championship only a couple of months before and put them into the tag team division. To the surprise of everybody, they made great television and made the Tag Team Division worth watching again. The fact of the matter is, that one of the mid card titles could use this sort of jolt as well and it is not as if it would be that difficult to sell as a feud. Chris Jericho, for example, has won nine Intercontinental Championships- who's to say he wouldn't want the elusive 10th and break a new barrier as far as titles are concerned? Or maybe Christian comes back and snares one of the titles and makes his own for a few months. By doing this the WWE would be achieving three things. Firstly, it would allow the belts to see important because they were held by important people and therefore the idea of them jobbing for others on the show would be less viable. Secondly, after the belt had been in the top card talent's hands for a good 3 months or so, allowing him to put over a young kid would instantly put the title and the star on the map. Imagine the rub the young wrestler would get who ended Chris Jericho's tenth Intercontinental Title reign- so long as it was a substantial one? Finally, you can be sure that with a veteran holding the title that the lower card guys will get some really good experience with a top card talent in PPVs where they'll be noticed.
