2. Bring Back King Of The Ring As PPV This may see a bit bewildering to begin with- as the King of the Ring does not strictly speaking have anything to do with the mid card titles. However in the days of the Attitude Era King of the Ring- like the mid card titles was a way to showcase mid card talent and give them the chance to get more exposure before stepping up to the big leagues. While amazing matches did take place during the PPV ( such as Mankind vs the Undertaker in Hell in a Cell ), the actual tournament was dominated by mid carders. The fact of the matter is though that a PPV dedicated, at least partly, to the exposure of mid card talent can do wonders for the amount of potential feuds that can be found for the two titles in the future and since its a tournament there is an excuse for the fact that some of the matches may not have a great deal of heat. Qualifying matches can be done in the weeks leading up to the PPV, much in the same way as Money in the Bank is done today, with the Semi Finals and Final done on the PPV. The winner of the tournament may get a special award of some sort. By bringing this back the WWE could see what feuds to use in the future when it comes to the midcard titles as well as set someone up for a title reign by winning the King of the Ring.
