WWE: 7 Announcers Who Should Replace Jerry Lawler

2. Booker T

booker-t Booker seems like a no brainer because he used to be an announcer before they moved him to the GM role. Now the Hall of Famer is serving on panels for Raw, Smackdown and PPVs as well. He's a guy that the fans like due to his outgoing personality, his ability to relate to the younger viewers and it hasn't been that long since he stopped wrestling full time. While we don't know why he was removed from the announce team a couple of years ago, there had to have been something that McMahon didn't like. We don't know what those reasons might be or if McMahon would be willing to put him back in that seat, but with Booker assuming a commentary role these days it's likely that he could become a regular announcer again. If WWE is looking for somebody with experience in the role as babyface color commentator to counter the heel JBL then Booker may be the perfect guy for the job. He brings experience and credibility to the table. Not to mention the six World Championships and that shiny Hall of Fame ring. He would be a great choice.
