http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bE5uH1I4xbI I know that Jericho isn't currently in WWE, but I think he would be an awesome opponent for Bryan because when Bryan first appeared in WWE on NXT who was his first opponent? Chris Jericho. If there's the right story in place Jericho would come back. He says it all the time. I have every reason to believe him because it's happened many times in the past. This is another case where I would want Bryan's opponent to be a heel. Jericho's had success in both roles, but I think he's better as a heel just because he's very old school in his heel persona. He doesn't try to be a smartass heel to get cheers from the crowd. For him it's all about getting booed. That's how it should be. I know that Bryan's wrestled Jericho since his NXT debut, but two babyfaces going at it on TV isn't the same as a proper, well built PPV match. I think Jericho could bring out the best in Bryan by bragging about all of his accomplishments and then Bryan could do everything he can to shut HIM (the hell) up. Even if they had a face vs. face match on PPV it would be great. Both are likable, both receive strong reactions to everything they do and what I really like about both guys is they are fantastic counter wrestlers too. Jericho especially stands out in that regard. When it comes to future opponents for Bryan, Jericho seems like the perfect fit to me. I also think that idea would really entice him about coming back to WWE for one more memorable feud in his legendary career.
