WWE: 7 Failures With Sheamus' Return

1. There Was No Heel Turn

People can argue the point that Sheamus€™ most entertaining run was as a heel. I believe that he was a little bit too green and overpushed at that point to say it for sure, but a heel turn right now would help him so much, for many different reasons. The guy would cut much better, intense, promos. His Cena #2 gimmick as a dude who tells lame jokes all the time and beats everyone all the time has run its course. Heel Sheamus running through everyone sounds good! It would freshen up his character and make him interesting again. Many people hoped for a heel turn when he returned so all of these things would be true, but€ it didn€™t happen. I€™ve seen people pointing out Corporate Sheamus could work. I believe it could, and it would definitely be better than his lame babyface character. There€™s another way that heel Sheamus would go, and perhaps could lead to a match against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania, as this match has been rumored. And it may still happen, who knows? Maybe Sheamus will turn heel at the Elimination Chamber and all this complaining will be rendered useless. But so far, well, Sheamus€™ returned has sucked. Overall, Sheamus€™ return has been a bust. There were many, many things that could€™ve made his return a lot better, and to be honest, most of them involved booking. Predictable, same old stuff, no heel turn as everyone wanted€ they can still make Sheamus relevant before WrestleMania and have him work a major program, but at this point, it looks like they don€™t even care.
