WWE: 7 Huge Positives From 2013

5. Turnaround Of The Tag Team Division

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSLseNGspRs A couple of years ago, I would have struggled to name five tag teams in the WWE. For the sake of scientific experimentation, I began to list all the teams I could think of from this past year, and I got to ten with no trouble. The tag team scene is at its highest right now since the days where the Dudley Boyz, Hardy Boyz, and Edge & Christian (surprisingly not called the E&C Boyz) tore up the division. The action has been solid, but what also makes the tag team division great these days is the varied set of characters that make up the different teams. We have a right-wing conservative team in the Real Americans, a deranged backwoods cult in the Wyatt Family, and a powerhouse Samoan duo in the Usos. Thankfully, we seem to be past the days where all "tag teams" are just two singles wrestlers thrown together, and we now actually have true teams, working towards a common goal of the tag team titles. In 2013, the tag team championship match at Wrestlemania leapt out of the pre-show and onto the main card. If tag team wrestling continues to grow like it is, it could be a serious part of the Wrestlemania XXX card.
