WWE: 7 Reasons To Be Excited (And Nervous) Over Daniel Bryan's Heel Turn

2. Bryan IS Still Being Kept Out Of The Title Picture

Daniel Bryan Depending on how you look at it, so long as he's getting regular PPV slots, and main event spots on Raw and SmackDown, it might not be such a big deal. I mean even if we're looking at this on a negative level, it's true that other renowned and beloved guys like the aforementioned Foley, Rey Mysterio, Y2J or even Shawn Michaels have spent most of their careers chasing World Championships. Right now, it looks like there's a good chance that might be what's happening in Daniel Bryan's future, if he stays with The Wyatts beyond 2014. Really, I see Bryan's career playing out something like Jericho's - but only if the fan support dwindles, and he has a shave - but he will always have the cult status because of his technical ability, and tenacious attitude. The fact is, and this may yet change, but a lot of people at the helm of the WWE (and this has been more than hinted at in the programming) don't believe in Bryan as the future of the company (probably because he's short and quick, and WWE is all about pushing big guys like Langston and Reigns in 2014), or indeed that he can draw real money like Cena, Brock, Batista and...err, Orton? Whatever. If that wasn't the case, then Daniel Bryan would be getting a title shot at this year's Royal Rumble instead of John Cena, or would be a major challenger heading into Mania, instead of Brock - hell, I'd like to see Bryan and The Wyatts put Lesnar in his place before or after April, but I doubt I'll ever get that opportunity. Maybe they feel like a heel turn with The Wyatts will calm his fans (and the mighty "Yes!" chant) down a bit? Only time will tell.
