WWE: 7 Superstars Who Desperately Need New Direction (And How To Do It)

2. Big Show

The Problem: Babyface Big Show is a terrible character compared to when he's a heel. The Solution: Turn him heel sooner rather than later. As I've written about before, Big Show has turned heel/face as much as anybody in WWE over the last 15 years. The only person that might have more turns than him is Kane, who also has a reputation for turning far too often. In Big Show's case, he comes across as a dominant badass when he's a heel. Then he goes face and they turn him into this smiling, laughing goof that just tries to be funny all the time. Looking back at the booking of WWE feuds in the fall of 2013, the use of Big Show was absolutely terrible. The story where he was suddenly bankrupt came out of nowhere. It seemed like they were building to him against Triple H in a match, which never happened. Instead, he had a really boring match and feud with Randy Orton that showed again that he's pretty much a failure as a babyface. I'm not saying Show is a failure as a wrestler. Far from it. It's babyface Show that stinks. When he's a heel he is one of the most compelling characters on the show because he's in the more natural role as a badass.
