2. Dean Ambrose
Each member of The Shield has their own special quality that makes them stand out from the pack. Roman Reigns is the power guy. Seth Rollins is the fastest guy. Dean Ambrose is the best talker. All of them are great at other things, but those aspects of the characters are true. Ambrose may break out this year as a singles star depending on how the breakup of The Shield goes. At this point the expectation is that Reigns is pushed the hardest and the fastest, but don't discount a guy like Ambrose. I thought it was fitting a few weeks ago on Raw when Ambrose went toe to toe with one of the best talkers ever, Roddy Piper, and he definitely held his own in the promo department. It showed that Ambrose is more than capable of handling things if he's ever given the chance to show what he can do verbally. What sets Ambrose apart from others in WWE is that he's able to express himself in ways others can't due to his body language. He makes great angry faces. He has this smirk on his face while he does too. Then there's the tone of his voice, which tells us when he's really angry and also when he's insecure. Keep an eye on that as the breakup of The Shield moves forward. If you're looking for the next great talker in WWE over the next decade, Ambrose is a guy that has to be right at the top of that list. He's this good already and he hasn't even had a major singles feud to really showcase what he can do. When the time comes he'll be ready. By the way WWE, he's been US Champ for over 250 days. It would be nice if he had an actual feud for the title. Just saying.
