WWE: 7 Unforgettable Matches I've Seen Live

3. CM Punk And Kofi Kingston vs. Chris Jericho And Dolph Ziggler - WWE House Show March 2012

This match represents one of the most fun experiences I've ever had at a WWE live event. The match was originally scheduled to be Punk vs. Ziggler, but Jericho got involved because he was feuding with Punk on the road to their WrestleMania 28 match. Kingston came down to make it a tag match. There were a lot of funny moments as Ziggler picked up a broom and sold a move as if he was going to have a match with it. Punk put on the toque (hat) of some kid at ringside and stood on the apron with it for a few minutes. The match felt like it went 20 minutes or so. We didn't time it or anything like that, but I can remember commenting on how hard they worked on this meaningless house show and that's a very cool thing to see. At one point, Jericho walked out of the ring and looked like he was going to leave. My buddy Steve started up a "Y2Chicken" chant, then everybody else joined in and Jericho even walked right up to us to talk trash. Then he gave a wink as if to say "good job" at us. It was also hilarious after the match, which was won by Punk and Kingston, when Jericho and Ziggler decided to just lie in the center of the ring for what was about ten minutes. We just stood there against the railing waiting for them to do something. Ziggler actually left first. Then Jericho. It was silly, yet fun at the same time. You had to be there, I guess.
