WWE: 7 Ways To Reinvent Randy Orton After WrestleMania 30

2. Add A "no WWE Title shot for one year" Stipulation To His Rematch

Assuming that Bryan wins the WWE Title at WrestleMania 30 and that Vince McMahon returns as a babyface owner, they should add a stipulation that they almost never use for Orton's rematch. Make an announcement that if Orton loses the rematch then he can't get another shot at the WWE Title for 365 days. It's a stipulation that TNA Wrestling used a couple of years ago for AJ Styles, who then won the TNA World Title when he was able to get a rematch. In his case, he was a babyface for the most part. It's TNA, though, so who really knows with their booking! For Orton, the situation could help his character in the sense that he can evolve and have goals that are different than winning that particular title. That doesn't mean that he has to go for the Intercontinental Title. What they can do is have him make life difficult for others that are top contenders for the WWE Title. The idea behind the character would be to turn him into the biggest jerk on the roster that gets a thrill out of ruining the dreams of others. It's a gimmick that would fit the heel version of Orton perfectly. Then, after a year of getting involved in other people's business, the babyfaces could get revenge on him when he's able to get a title shot. It's a storyline with a lot of potential.
