WWE: 7 Wrestlers Who Could Make Evolution Better

2. Sting

Most fans would probably prefer to cheer Sting upon his WWE debut, but having him join Evolution could also be pretty great. When HHH introduced Evolution years ago, he stated that the group was about the past, the present and the future of the business. It's doubtful that Hunter considers himself part of the past, so he may want someone else to fill that role. That man could be Sting. Right now it's unclear if Flair will re-join the group. He's had some personal problems the past few years that could prevent WWE from trusting him with a full-time role. In addition, unlike his last run, there's no way that he would be used as an even an occasional active wrestler. Those days are over. But not for Sting. While The Stinger is now 55, he can still put on a passable match. There are plenty of opponents that he could make big money with. He would also be protected from being exposed if he took part in a series of tag matches with Orton and Hunter doing most of the work. That way the company could build up to big solo showdowns for him. And If Sting was a heel upon his arrival, it could be a more natural build to a dream match with The Undertaker (if The Deadman hasn't completely ruled out one more match) at WrestleMania 31. Another idea of Sting joining would be having him affiliated with the group without the face-paint. Have the company build up to him breaking away and once again donning his Crow look. He could eventually turn on Evolution, and have some younger babyfaces like Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns help him destroy the group once and for all. There are plenty of interesting ways that Sting can debut in WWE, and having him be the legend of Evolution would give the group a much needed spark that they appear to be lacking.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
