The film will be released this summer, with Batista probably taking some time off to promote it. While this is undoubtedly a good deal for Batista, it's hardly that great for WWE fans - Batista's back, but with conditions. It seems that the film has played far more of a role in WWE and Batista's plans than we first thought. WWE are pushing Batista in order to try and seize on some of the attention from the film. The Wrestlemania main event should be about who the best wrestler in the company is, instead it is about which wrestler has a Hollywood blockbuster coming out. On Batista's part too, does he really care about WWE fans? Or is this comeback all about furthering his profile around Guardians of the Galaxy? This film has ended up having way more consideration in WWE planning than it ever should have done. The departure for film promoting is just one of several long term issues surrounding Batista's return. He is a significant injury risk, proving highly prone to muscle tears and various other strains throughout his first WWE run. It seems inevitable that he will have at least some time out injured in his new run. Much of the time he had been out for a considerable amount of months in his previous spell with WWE.
