WWE: 8 Matches To Make The Perfect UK PPV

1. Roman Reigns vs. Bad News Barrett (WWE Title Match)

Nobody in the UK wants to see Roman Reigns win the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Which means we're soon enough going to have many thousands of disappointed Brits. Whether we like it or not, Roman Reigns is on a ticket-punched and paid for trip to the top strap. It's just a matter of time. Wade "Bad News" Barrett has had some rotten luck in his career. From John Cena holding him down in 2010 to a multitude of injuries at critical times, it seems as if Barrett is just not meant to reach the top. His last world title match came in 2012, in the World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber match. Which is why you do this match. You give Barrett one shot on one night against Roman Reigns, all or nothing and you put it in the UK. Manchester if you want to be truly precise. What you then have is the second coming of ECW One Night Stand. There's just no way to underestimate the crowd heat for this bout. It would be worth the price of the WWE Network subscription on its own. There is an obvious question as to whether WWE would really be willing to put their golden boy Reigns into this situation, let alone actually put Barrett over but win or lose, they'd have an unmissable main event to cap off an unmissable night.

Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
