4. His Character Is Too Smart
Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family have caught the attention of the wrestling world for good reason. The Wyatts are something mature, creepy, and intellectual that is so unlike the rest of the family friendly entertainment that WWE has been trying to put out over the last handful of years. The video packages are top notch and Bray's promos are in an entire different league from the cue card promos the rest of the roster is cutting. When Bray Wyatt speaks he is engaging, thought provoking and darkly charismatic. One can't help but be glued to the TV while he speaks his version of the truth. The gimmick is fresh and smart. For WWE, it is probably too smart. One of Bray's problems post-Mania will be if creative can keep up. In order for Wyatt to be the most effective he has to be able to preach his message and engage the audience at a high level. It only takes one or to bad promos, a comedy skit with Hornswaggle or the cover of WWE Kids Magazine to dumb down the entire gimmick. And when that happens, the power is lost.
