WWE: 8 Ways Elimination Chamber Devalued Wrestlemania 30

2. The Shield / Wyatt Feud Over Before It Begins

The Shield Vs Wyatts battle from last night was epic, one of the best WWE matches you will see all year. The action was so good that we all want to see more, we would all put money down to see the clash again at Wrestlemania 30. However, just when WWE had established the hot feud, they instead went in a direction that had been planned six months earlier. Rather than seeing more of the Wyatts and Shield, we will instead see Bray Wyatt go off to face John Cena at Wrestlemania 30. It's a terrible misjudgement that all comes down to WWE's stubbornness not to deviate from what it planned in advance. Yes, Cena vs Wyatt may have been a good idea, but another Shield Wyatt clash is where the money is. Imagine if the teams clashed again at Wrestlemania in a TLC match, how cool would that be? By making the Shield Wyatt feud so hot and then moving on so quickly the company has disappointed us all. Anything else is going to seem second rate. It's the equivalent of having The Rock and Austin feud at fever pitch in 1999 and then sending Austin against someone else at Mania because you had it planned longer. Sometimes you have to run with what is getting over naturally, and there's been no hotter feud than Wyatts / Shield over the last four weeks.
