2. Chyna
Where do you begin? How many reasons do you want? Chyna was a woman who re-wrote the script for female competitors during the Attitude era. A huge muscular bodybuilder, she was an equal physical match to most of the men in the WWE, and often interfered on behalf of Triple H, whom she accompanied to the ring. She made history too, becoming the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble, and the first woman to hold the Intercontinental title. During this time, she was dating Triple H. Note the past tense here. Her final match for the WWE came at Judgement Day 2001, where she successfully defended the WWE Womens title against Lita. However, she quit the promotion because of what was happening behind the scenes. She split acrimoniously with Triple H, claiming that he was having an affair with Stephanie McMahon while they were still dating. She left in November, six months after last wrestling for the promotion. She had clearly fallen well out of favour. After her departure, Joanie Laurer went into freefall, and the fact that she is still alive and well today is a surprise to many. She made brief appearances in New Japan and TNA, but her greatest post-WWE fame (or should that be infamy?) was when a sex tape shed made with another ex, Sean X-Pac Waltman, was leaked online and eventually commercially released under the title of One Night in Chyna. She then made another five pornographic movies, something that would certainly not fit in with the WWEs PG rating and family friendly image. With her ex-boyfriend Triple H in a huge position of power, along with his wife Stephanie, the chances of Chyna ever making it into the Hall of Fame, despite her groundbreaking achievements, are slim to none. And, to quote Bobby Heenan, slims just left town.
