WWE: 9 Most Conceivable Threats To The Undertaker's Wrestlemania Streak

7. Kurt Angle

One of the matches I remember most vividly from the last decade was Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker at No Way Out 2006. It was brilliant. The two men worked a riveting match that featured near falls, transitions, submission, power and high flying wrestling. It was a true pro wrestling feast. I wish it had been at Wrestlemania €“ a truly fitting stage for two of the best of all time to collide. That match could be a possibility for Wrestlemania 31, given that Kurt Angle recently commented his TNA contract is up later in 2014. Angle vs Taker has never been done before at Mania, and with Kurt's reputation, he could be perceived as a genuine contender to end the streak. Kurt is that rarest of things, a star from the Attitude Era who is still fit and relevant. He has also not been featured in WWE for over half a decade. When he comes back it will be big. It will be a return with huge ramifications, and focused against The Undertaker his return could be engaging as a quest to end the streak. Fans would buy into it. Angle isn't coming back to lose. A return in which his first match is at Wrestlemania 31 against The Undertaker is pure box office.
