WWE: 9 Most Conceivable Threats To The Undertaker's Wrestlemania Streak

8. Daniel Bryan

Is he really a conceivable threat to the streak? Perhaps the word should be the most "intriguing" threat to the streak; because if Daniel Bryan was to face Taker at Wrestlemania 3o, how could WWE book the hugely over star to lose yet again on a major PPV? They just couldn't get away with it €“ Bryan needs the payoff to all his underdog losses, the eventual major win. If WWE was to book him against Taker at Mania 30, then some eyebrows would inevitably be raised that a streak win could be the payoff. And things could indeed be heading that way. The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has reported that Undertaker has requested to work with Bryan at Wrestlemania 30, and Bryan represents one of the few men who could carry a hurt Taker to a safe and quality contest. Perhaps this is why WWE has seemingly turned Bryan "heel" by having him join the Wyatt family €“ a way to facilitate a Bryan vs Taker match in Mania season. Even if the bearded star remains face, a Taker match could still be on the cards. Given Daniel Bryan's huge popularity (arguably the most vocally backed star since Austin) he could be perceived as a genuine threat to the streak. After months of losing as the sympathetic underdog, this wildly popular talent will eventually get his moment at some point. There is no bigger title in WWE than "the man who ended the streak".
