Wrestlemania VI - April 1, 1990

Venue: The SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario
Attendance: 67,678 Wrestlemania was the changing of the guard as far as Vince McMahon was concerned. It was the night the torch was supposed to pass from Hulk Hogan to The Ultimate Warrior. Sure Warrior/Hogan was epic and had every element to make it a deserving 'Mania classic Warrior was not the man the WWF had hoped he was and would be deemed more of a failed experiment as it's top champion. There's no taking away how exciting the main event of 'Mania 6 was though and saw Hogan pinned at the PPV for the first time something only ever seen again when he fought The Rock many moons later. There were 13 other matches that night including a 19 second squash featuring The Hart Foundation and The Bolsheviks. Elsewhere Demolition defeated Andre and Haku for the WWF tag team championships, Dusty Rhodes defeated Randy Savage, Brutas Beefcake ended Mr Perfect's unbeaten (on TV) streak, The Big Boss Man defeated his ex buddy Akeem and The Barbarian defeated Tito Santana in a rare singles win. Wrestlemania VI is also memorable as being the 'Mania that Edge, Christian and lance Storm all attended as fans and we all know what successes they've all had in their own right although Storm has
never appeared at 'Mania surprisingly.
