Monday Night Raw is three hours a week, which is an incredible commitment for anyone. SmackDown is another two, for those looking for further punishment. For the most part, WrestleMania has been a three hour show. This used to seem incredibly long since most of WWE€™s programming at the time was an hour. It was a stuffed, but satisfying event.

Now, we€™re dealing with three hour Raws and a six hour Mania. That€™s just ridiculous. Think of the children Vince, they have school the next day!

Here€™s a thought to not only save our children, but our sanity: If a feud isn€™t that good, or interesting, don€™t put it on the show, even the pre-show. Don€™t overbook Mania. That way you protect the brand itself, and not get bogged down by filler.

Ryback vs. Kalisto? Put it on SmackDown instead and see if anyone would care. The Divas (which they were called at the time) five-on-five match would have made a suitable main event on Main Event. The Dudleyz vs. The Usos would have been a good fit for Mania...three years ago.

Also of note is that after the beluga whale of a show ended, Hunter and Steph hugged each other in the middle of the ring and played to the crowd. Is there any heel on the rest of the roster who could get away with that? Could Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman just do a dance-off if they felt like it?

Well, another great way to cut down that time is to take it from a particular match we'll get to in a bit

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
