WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 26)

3. The Greatest Ridiculous Statement Of All Time!

This past week on Raw, Booker T said he thinks that Naomi is the greatest Diva of all time. Naomi. Of the Funkadacyles. The greatest of all time. That would be like one of the announcers calling Dean Ambrose the greatest male wrestler of all time. How does someone earn six figures a year to say things like that on TV? Is Naomi athletic? Absolutely. Is she one of the better Divas in the division? Without a doubt. Is she the greatest woman wrestler who ever lived? No! That€™s just€ okay€ let€™s wait a few years after she actually becomes popular before a statement like that is even floated about. How did Michael Cole or JBL not ask him €œUnder what criteria?€ Those guys will argue over anything! Bring up some obscure 70s sitcom? That€™s an argument. Say one wrestler cheated? Argument. Claim that a woman who has never won the Divas title, main-evented an episode of Raw, or had a WrestleMania singles match is the greatest of all time? Silent agreement.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
