WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 3)

2. Dean€™s Wagon

I don€™t get how Dean Ambrose bringing a toy wagon to the ring is supposed to make adult fans like him more. He€™s going against Brock freaking Lesnar at WrestleMania, the man who oozes danger, and Dean would rather act cute than badass. WWE wants to portray him as the next great hardcore warrior like Mick Foley and Terry Funk, but without actually having to compete in wild death matches. This is understandable, but having him act so damn precious is nauseating.

When Ambrose was in The Shield, the thought of him on his own was an exciting prospect. But it€™s been a major letdown thus far. Any edge he has is gone, and been replaced with a big bowl of wacky. He seems to have hit a ceiling on how far he€™s going to rise up the card. More fans may like him than Roman Reigns, but unlike Roman, he doesn€™t seem to have the potential to be a main event player unless things change.

Yeah, bringing out a red wagon, or a hot dog cart is crazy, but more lame crazy than dangerous crazy. At this point, watching him ride a bicycle to the ring at WrestleMania while brandishing a pool cue, and ringing a little bell wouldn€™t be too far off his current character.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
