WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Aug 24)

3. Cena vs. Lesnar: The Sequel To The Sequel

As satisfying as it was to finally see John Cena get demolished and humiliated, I no longer can look back at that moment in time fondly. I now have to wait in worry for the next few weeks that he€™s just going to get his win back! I mean, WWE isn€™t that stupid...are they? Sure, they screwed up by having him lose to Cena the first time, and then lose to Triple H, and then only beat Triple H by cheating in their last match together, but certainly they€™ve learned their lesson right? What makes Brock so great is the way he pummels his opponents. He needs to be booked differently than anyone else for him to be effective. Going back and forth with HHH for 20 minutes doesn€™t do anyone any good. Manhandling every babyface on the roster until one is built up to stop him is where the money is at. The fall-out from the SummerSlam match was a time to do something new with Cena. No top babyface had ever been so badly beaten in a title match. It was a time to reflect, maybe he could begin to doubt himself, or have to prove himself again against lesser opponents. We need a redemption storyline from Cena, or just something different. Sure, a change of shorts would be nice to see, but having him display some new emotions would be even better. I'll try to be optimistic that Cena won't win the rematch, but this is the same company that finds putting little people in animal costumes quality entertainment...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
