WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 16)

6. All Hail King Jobber!

Just last month, at WWE's 11th most popular pay-per-view of the year, Wade Barrett defeated R-Truth in a match for the hallowed King moniker. At the time, we all thought it was stupid and pointless. We were right. But it€™s even more pointless now that The King can only last one minute and 18 seconds against Neville on Raw. It would be one thing if they wanted to transition Barrett into a full-time jobber, but he€™s in a marquee match at SummerSlam! So why job him out like that? That makes you wonder why Stardust would choose Barrett as his partner if he was so easily defeated by one of the opponents in the future match. Was there absolutely no one else on the roster that Stardust could have asked to tag with him? How about Rusev? He doesn€™t have anything going on at SummerSlam. Besides that, Stephen Amell took down Stardust with no trouble on Raw, so this kind of makes the heels the heavy underdogs. Arrow needs to find some real criminals to fight, and stop picking on people so pathetic.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
