WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 23)

6. Gail Burns Down The House

Gail Kim€™s new look is cool, as is her attitude. But her ability to beat The Dollhouse by herself is not so cool, as a former WWE mid-carder from the Caribbean would say. The match was complteley unnecessary in the first place. She had defeated all three members of the stable on the August 5th edition of Impact. What made Marti Bell and Jade think they had a better chance at victory with one less wrestler on their side? That is why handicap matches are about the worst thing in wrestling storytelling. After the obvious Kim victory, Velvet Sky and Kim tracked down Taryn Terrell backstage, handcuffed her, and then told the cameraman to leave. It appeared that the leader of the group was about to be viciously beaten by with a chair, unable to protect herself. Isn€™t that...a bit excessive? It seemed beyond getting even, and kind of made you feel bad for the kidnapped woman.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
