WWEs ratings are not good. Theyre almost as low as they were back in 1995. Before the Monday Night War. This week they sunk to 3.51 million viewers for Raw, which is the worst theyve drawn since the Christmas Eve 2012 show. Since Christmas? How is that possible? Could it have something to do with two years straight of questionable booking, extreme overexposure, failure to protect anyone on the roster besides the top guys, terrible humor, an over reliance on former stars, hotshoting angles, retconning angles, dropping big stories completely, making short people dress as animals, having a grown man dress as a bunny, producing the announcers to ignore the in-ring action and instead just joke around, focusing the show on two people who dont ever wrestle, pushing the women as afterthoughts, only hiring a small handful of tag teams and having their minor leagues put on a consistently better show than their main shows? Or is just the millennials being too lazy to turn on their TV?
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
