WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Dec 27)

2. Sandow Cameo

Remember when fans were going crazy over the thought of Damien Sandow finally standing up to The Miz and breaking out on his own? That was THIS year believe it or not. Somehow we have not seen this man on Raw or SmackDown in a match since May. So the average fan has no idea where he went, or why he€™s gone, and if he€™s even alive and well. This week we finally had a Sandow sighting when he showed up at Santino€™s stupid party. We saw him for all of two seconds, and he didn€™t say a single word, just looked at who attacked the Christmas tree and left. Now this long disappearance of his would make sense if they were repackaging him and giving him a new gimmick, or letting him go back to his Savior of the Masses one, but WWE clearly has no plans for him. Recently, he was campaigning on social media to win a Slammy award where he would then have a live mic. As a matter of fact, he did win one: The Double Cross of the Year. But no TV time for him, though, just an on-air graphic. It€™s hard to think of anyone on the main roster who has a sadder career than he does. Oh yeah, and about that party...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
