WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Feb 26)

4. Braxton The Bad Man

Braxton Sutter
Impact Wrestling

On Impact, we finally saw the wedding of Laurel Van Ness and Braxton Sutter, which was a whole two weeks in the making.

The ceremony didn’t go as planned, as Sutter finally realized he was being a huge dick for tricking a woman into believing he loved her. Even if she is evil, evil people need loving. He was fine with this, and was going to live out the rest of his life with someone he hated, because it was revealed on Impact that he didn’t want Allie—the woman he was actually in love with—to lose her job in the company, which at times probably didn’t pay her on time.

Okay, for starters, unless Allie’s life was at stake, then there was absolutely no good reason for Sutter to agree to marry Laurel! That was all Maria had hanging over his head? You can always date someone outside of the workplace. Was he not aware of that?

Also of note is that Laurel's character is based on her being rich and her family being super rich...except that not a single member of her family showed up for the wedding. Are times that hard in TNA where they can't pay a struggling actor $20 and free admission to Universal Studios to play her dad?

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
