WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 15)
2. Steph Is The Boss. Got It?
Hey, more Steph. Neat!
I’m not going to lie. I was shocked, SHOCKED that it took Stephanie 17 months of Sasha Banks being on the main roster before she said “I’m the REAL boss around here.” I felt it would have been a month, tops, before she had to let everyone know that.
I’ve said it before, but I must say it again, because it’s been a few months and I feel agitated if I don’t, but Stephanie McMahon is the absolute worst, most destructive character in the history of WWE. EVER! Her dad, may have talked down to talent all the time, but he’d get his ass handed to him shortly afterwards, and it was a lot of fun to watch. Steph, though, always “wins.” She doesn’t wrestle, and when she does, she wins the match! Can you imagine Steve Austin or The Rock just standing around letting Vince talk down to them the way that Steph did to Sasha Banks and Bayley on Raw?
Both of the talented women wrestlers had to stand there and take her verbal abuse. Unless the plan is for Steph to step in the ring with one of them at WrestleMania, and job decisively, then it was incredibly detrimental to their characters. You have to imagine, though that unless Steph is in a segment with a mega star like Ronda Rousey, then she won’t sell for anyone. Actually, she probably wouldn’t even let Ronda go over on her now.
Steph just needs to go away from TV. That would be the best thing for a lot of careers.
