I don't mean to be overly harsh on WWE, but it's quite awful right now. Every week it seems they quit caring a little bit more than the week before. Theyre going out of their way to make sure you dont get too invested in their shows. This weeks biggest offense was the Macho Man tribute videos. Good idea. Poor execution. Why did they have to put The Big Show in those videos acting so goofy? Hes a heel! We are not supposed to like him! Yet there he was, hamming it up for the camera like only The Big Show does. Does he not remember all those times he chokeslammed him in WCW? He's kind of a jerk! Well, a few minutes later he cut an in-ring promo. This time without a smile, and he told the audience how stupid they were, and how he wanted to get a chalupa from Taco Bell after the show. I dont know, I dont remember. It was too hard to get invested in what he was saying as we just saw him goofing off in a series of video that also had his nemesis Roman Reigns in them! Are those two going to feud over who does the better Macho Man impression now? I hope not, because they were both awful! Oooooooo yeah!
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
