WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 31)

4. Roman Walks Away

Judging by crowd noise, no one wanted Roman Reigns to win the Royal Rumble. Fans were leery of him the moment his music hit. Having him overcome insurmountable odds two years in a row was just too much to manage. Luckily, he did not win, which will probably help his career out in the long run. However, there was another moment that is going to hurt him for a bit. The League of Nations put a beatdown on Roman, which was a part of Vince McMahon€™s master plan. However, the boss failed to learn anything from his own Rumble entry in 1999, in which his goons beat down Steve Austin, but then didn€™t bother bringing him back into the ring to throw him out. This time he made the same mistake with Roman. However, The Nation obviously didn€™t hurt him too bad as Sir Sufferin Succotash was able to walk away from the ring. Wait a second. He walked away on his own? Then why the hell didn€™t he get back in the ring? So he just got to leave for 45 minutes, take a breather and then return? WWE tried to make him look tough by making him able to leave on his own accord, but they actually made him look like a coward, and a man faking an injury by not rolling back in under the ropes.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
