WWE fans are very loyal. While the ratings took a hit this past week due to the 4th of July holiday, there were still plenty of us who tuned in to watch. And for that, we were punished. The entire show was incredibly campy and borderline evil on the McMahon’s part for allowing it to air in the way it did.

While a lot of stupid things happened that night that would have likely p***ed off the Founding Fathers, perhaps nothing was more annoying than The Social Outcasts segment with Enzo and Big Cass. Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, and Heath Slater all dressed up as soldiers from The American Revolution, and JBL kept shouting out various presidents and American historical figures.

Vince McMahon is known to be rude to some of the announcers on the headset at times, and this would have been a great moment for him to tell JBL to shut the hell up.

Then there was the match itself, which was two painfully unfunny minutes of action, and the guys paying respect to the country's’ past were the ones who did the quick job. Vince really needs to start putting in more than 14 seconds worth of thinking into these holiday episodes.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
