WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 10)

Wow. The Vaudevillians are DONE.

As soon as they came to the main roster, I didn’t think they’d last very long, but Vince seems to have got sick of them even earlier than I guessed. It’s a bit of a shame actually, as they seemed to be getting decently over with the crowd. Now, it seems they’ll either have to split them up in the draft, or send them back to developmental and re-introduce them later.

Everyone but Vince knows that The Golden Truth won’t be together long. He’ll get tired of them, and move onto the next dumb comedy act, likely a pairing between Rick Steiner and Shawn Stasiak which he’ll call DogMeat. So when the rookies lost to them in under 90 seconds, and didn’t even have their entrances aired...well...that's not good.

The Vaudevillians may not have been the next great tag team, but they weren’t outright flopping. And with so few teams in the entire company, it seems that jobbing any of them out so easily damages the whole division.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
