WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 19)

4. LVP (Least Valuable Promotion)

So now MVP is leaving TNA too. The Beat Down Clan is gone for good. While it was a decent stable (with a bad name), the revolving game of musical chairs with its members was getting to be too much. MVP didn€™t exactly raise the ratings during his time in the company, but he was a worthwhile pickup from WWE who was still solid behind the mic. And now he's gone. It sounds like part of the reason for his departure is that he was instrumental in bringing Hernandez to the company. Was he being punished for the fiasco? It's not quite clear yet, but as one of the top heels TNA who carried some name recognition with him, this is a fairly big loss. Fun depressing wrestling fact: If you look at the roster page on Impact wrestling's website, 50 names are listed. At least nine of them are no longer with the company.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
