WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 3)
7. Oh. Shoot
“I’m not supposed to talk about Roman. Now, if you’ll politely all turn your attention to the screen, I had some of the video guys backstage put his Twitter comment on a nice background so it would be easier to see, and you’d all know what I’m talking about. But I'm not supposed to do it!”-Seth Rollins on Raw (loosely paraphrased)
Roman was busted, and everyone knew it. The intrigue going into Raw was whether WWE would address it or not. Or, instead of making him apologize to the entire locker room, have him apologize to every person in the arena one-at-a-time! Well, they went the first route, probably because it saved time. But they tried to make it seem like the reveal was a shoot, and that Seth was going off-script.
Yeah, the Twitter graphic kind of gave that all away. You can stop pretending WWE! The company somehow ended up looking dumber than had they either just told us the truth via the announcers, or just ignored it completely.
