On Monday’s Raw, we watched as Maryse took a really awkward fall. She landed on the ground, and it seemed that death was mere moments away. Sadly, no medical personnel came to the arena that night, so no one could check on her. Miz had to take over, and he carried her to the backstage.

Shockingly, Mayrse then unveiled her master plan in front of her husband, and absolutely no one else: that horrendous injury we all witnessed was faked. Well, told no one besides the cameraman four feet in front of her, millions of people, and her co-workers. Because immediately after this segment, the announcers commented on what they just saw, because they aren’t idiots.

It’s not just that Maryse and Miz didn’t know there wasn’t a camera there, but they went out of their way not to look at it. When Maryse confessed to her crime, Miz took a look around the room to see if anyone else was there, and specifically overlooked the camera. So, so easy to fix, but so, so hard for WWE to do.

And let’s take a moment to acknowledge poor Kane, the dude hasn’t wrestled in months, he's a future hall of famer, and yet he got a pop that was the equivalent to Braun Strowman walking out instead.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
