WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 3)

4. Sit Down!

Enzo Amore Big Cass

What the? I enjoy Big Cass and Enzo overall, but I fear they are going to start getting some backlash if they don’t pick up their game a little bit. Every week the Jersey pals tend to work in some dated references like The Flintstones and Family Matters, and this week they went for some forced audience participation. Take it easy guys, I want to keep liking you!

There was no point to Enzo doing the wave, he just called for it. Not cool man. I go to my wrestling shows to stand up as little as possible! I expected him to start up a gimmick like “See how many times the wave can go around the arena before we beat the jobbers.” I wouldn’t like that gimmick one bit, but it would have some meaning behind it.

The wave in wrestling is sacred. It is supposed to be saved for matches that are really boring! It’s an act of defiance, not to be co-opted by the WWE. Shame Enzo. For shame.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
